We're back

Well, that says it all! We are home and Emma is settling in beautifully. The story of the trip to China, the good and the bad, is at China Dreaming, along with links to tons of pictures. We have recovered from sickness and jet lag, and are starting to settle into a routine of some sort. Hubby goes back to work Monday (I'm off for the summer) and of course clogging has resumed for me (hey, it's my sanity!), with a performance in the 4th of July parade, which was the first parade in which we and the spectators could actually hear the music, because we finally got an amp! Woohoo! Emma is charming everyone she meets. She loves all her grandparents and the aunts and uncles she's met so far. Motherhood is a hell of an adjustment but I'm making it. It helps that she's such a happy baby, and that she is adjusting to her new life so well herself. We have been home for 2 weeks but it feels like a month. At any rate, I just wanted to post a quick update here. I'm off to bed!
