The Devil went down to Gatlinburg...

OK, I didn't blog about this before we went because I was afraid I'd jinx it. :) But we kicked butt in the dance exhibition in Gatlinburg Friday night! We performed Devil Went Down to Georgia starring me as Johnny, Ginger as the Devil, and the rest of the group as demons and Johnny's friends. I came up with the concept and Ginger and I co-choreographed. This was the first time any of us had performed like this - on a huge stage in front of 1000 people - but we did the dance better than we had ever done it in practice. And the crowd loved it which was the most important thing of all! The rest of the weekend was great as well. We learned tons of new stuff including a duet to the Main St. Electrical Parade song, for which Ginger and I plan to dress up as Mickey and Minnie.

We're almost done with Emma's room. I think we might actually get it ready by the time she comes home!
