Library patrons

When I am sitting at the desk, is it really that difficult to walk the extra 5 feet and hand me your books instead of putting them in the book drop, thus requiring me to get up, walk over to the book drop myself, try to get them out without throwing out my back, and walk back over to the computer to check them in? You do, after all, have to walk RIGHT PAST ME to exit the building, so that 5 feet isn't even out of your way. Argh!
