Book fair success!

We have just completed day one of the first annual Friends of the Library book fair, and I think it went very well. We had people in there all day and did good business. Tomorrow might not go as well, being a Saturday, but this is a "learn from it" thing - if there's no business tomorrow, then next year we'll only do it on weekdays. And it was actually much more enjoyable than the annual Friends luncheon, largely because this time I hardly had to do any planning or prep work for it! :-)

At the moment I'm sitting at home waiting for Brian to call me back to see if we're going to a Halloween party. We were supposed to go with my cousins but apparently they have crapped out on us. Oh well. On tap for the weekend is another trip to the Ren Fair, a dance performance, and hopefully some chicken coop and shed cleaning. Wahoo!
