Physically fit
Welp, I managed to get to the doctor's this morning. After 40 minutes in the waiting room and a bunch of completely unwarranted paperwork hassle (explain to me again why socialized medicine is so bad by comparison, please), I got in to see the Dr. McMillan. She's been my doctor for several years, now.
But my last physical was before I changed docs. And I kind of forgot that I was making an appointment with a female physician this time. I wasn't uncomfortable, to my surprise...it was just a little weird.
Anyway, after what I consider to be a completely undue amount of hassle, I have the required health certificate, basically stating that I'm disease-free and capable (physically) of handling child-rearing.
Next up are the SBI background checks and the CIS I-600, both of which need to be mailed out this afternoon. If our luck keeps running as it has, these will go smoothly.
